Fun with smoke

Recently I tried playing around with smoke photography. For the very first time, under Keith's assistance. Just sharing some of the better shots!









Smoke photography was really fun! There's an element of surprise, in that you can never predict how the smoke blows about. Technically, the challenging bit was acquiring proper focus and ensuring the smoke was within the DOF.

The reason why I did this was to try something new. As creative people, I believe in always experimenting with something fresh. This is one way to not get stuck in a rut. Always keep discovering, having fun, and never lose sight of the magic that first caught your eye - photography.
