The deep anger

I PROMISE I'll set my HP Pavilion on fire and burn it into ashes and make sure I leave no trace of it, when I get a new desktop. I PROMISE. I assure you it will go up burning in flames.

And be rest assured I will make extra effort to personally rip off the disgusting bulging HP logos off the monitor and CPU and burn them seperately. Oh and don't expect me to arrange a funeral for the Pavilion; it's simply not worth it. I'll only do so if my iBook dies, which is almost unlikely.

I PROMISE, too, that the next desktop will NEVER be a HP. I PROMISE that I'll NEVER EVER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE buy another HP computer. Never, even over my dead body. I PROMISE that I'll kick and smash and bash and wip and send knuckles raining down on it. I shall never want to see ANY other HP product in my house all except for my HP PSC printer.

HP PCs are damned, and nothing is going to change that.

I PROMISE you I'll burn it alive.

Is this the kind of life we want?

In the fast paced society we live in today, with all the hardship, stress, work that come tumbling down upon the frail you, it’s very easy to get misled into the demands of this world. It is tough to remain focused on what is eternal, it is a battle between the things that do not last and the things that do.

Come to think of it: are exams, results and assignments that worthy of our time? Is it? They are meaningless things that do not last, they are temporary, and once it’s done you’ll forget about it the next year.

So then, just why do we spend so much time on all these things yet knowing that they are just things of the world? Shouldn’t we be putting our attention and energy on fulfilling our purpose for God? Shouldn’t we not devote so much time to work, at the expense of our relationship with the Master?

It is a struggle in the spiritual realm. We pray fervently for opportunities to share our faith, but when they are blatantly laid down in front of us, and we have a calling in our hearts that this is the time to stand for what we believe, we back down.

We give excuses. We run away from it.

Is this the right attitude we should cultivate? Isn’t it shameful?

We know that we are not doing His work, yet we still continue wandering aimlessly in the useless things of the world.

Shouldn’t the daily conversations of Christians not revolve around computer games, TV shows, soccer, neopets, DOTA, shopping and the like, but instead issues like evangelism, discipleship, ministry and God’s calling?

Some are still toddlers, ignorant toddlers who claim by mouth that they are Christians, but in actual fact, they are nothing more than a bunch of hypocrites, who do not behave and act as they should. They are still feeding on soft baby food, and not solid food, as they should be at this age.

Yet others have such big egos that they never recognize they need the grace of God. They are blinded by their pride, their worldly success and their achievements. As I was telling Weng Keong, it is only when the pride goes away can there be space for the Spirit to fill their hearts.

So shouldn’t we stop to reorganize our priorities and set them in a way that pleases our King?

I think we all should, now.

And it did it again!

Congrats Hewlett-Packard, for receiving the most reliable PC award! I love HP forever! It is such an amazing computer! Why do i say that? Because...

HP

Yes, I did have the priviledge of experiencing all of the above... So now I have a desperate plea to all: any one of you would be kind enough to lend me your Windows XP Home Edition installation CD-ROM because my poor 2.5 year old HP needs it! It just decided to misbehave and crash on me for the fourth time! Heehee...so exciting right!...to own a brilliant computer which will graciously allow you to crash so many times and never restart! Beautiful!

Damn you HP. I swear I'll never ever get another damned HP. It damn it sucks to the damned core.

To hell with my Pavilion.

The future of msn?

Microsoft has got to definitely call its new version of MSN Messenger as Windows LIVE Messenger, probably in a desperate attempt to prove to their users out there that Microsoft is still ‘live’ and living, and not dead as we suppose.

Haha…picture this:

I better hope Bill Gates never sees this or else I could very well get into trouble...

I don’t know about your stand on this, but I will never ever download any more beta software from Microsoft after my bad experience with IE 7 Beta 2.

Well, everybody’s jumping on the bandwagon after Apple’s success with the iTunes music store. Even Microsoft is going to have their own URGE, and there are spreading rumors that a Microsoft ‘iPod’ might be a possibility too.

Nooo, surely you won’t want to see this flooding our stores right?

We will still remain faithful to Steve Jobs, shall we?

One Way

People just simply do not get it. They listen patiently, but when it comes to making a decision, they reject. Why? Why can't they get the point?

The purpose for our lives is a very straightforward and direct issue: IT IS ALL ABOUT GOD.

People search frantically for the meaning of life, but they will never find it despite their assiduous attempts, because the one and only answer lies with God, and if they do not turn to him, then they will NEVER find the purpose of living.

They can search for all eternity long, and yet can never get a satisfactory reply, unless they seek Christ.

All you people of little faith out there, believe me: IT IS ALL ABOUT GOD.

Imagine...

Imagine you badly require a new laptop...and then one day you pass by this magnificent Fujitsu Lifebook Q2010...

Imagine that it is an ultra sleek, ultra portable, ultra lightweight 12 inch notebook that has a design that catches your eye instantly. Then you decide to purchase that laptop which you just cannot resist. You are extremely satisfied with your purchase.

Imagine one day your friends come over to visit you, they enter your room and immediately, they get wowed by your new Lifebook.

Imagine one of them asking you: "So how much did that nifty baby cost?" You reply: "$5,888."

Then they ask you: "So what chip is it using?" You hesitate, then embarrassingly reply: "It's running on an Intel Core SOLO."

Then there is a long, quiet pause as they stare at you in disbelief.

"And how much did you pay again?" they ask...and you say: "$5,888!" They expected at the very least an Intel Core Duo T2050 chip.

They nod their head in disapproval, saying: "Now that's PREPOSTEROUSLY OVERPRICED."

Ultra sleek, ultra portable, ultra lightweight...and also ULTRA SLOW PROCESSOR and ULTRA EXPENSIVE.

Oh...and that's not all...

Imagine...while Fujitsu is reporting battery life as eight hours, the included battery will only give you two!

Well, with the latest Fujitsu Lifebook Q2010, it's not that hard to imagine.

Fujitsu sure makes crazy products.
